UPDATE: Because we wanted to bring a little couture to the young and beautiful in Central PA, we chose very chic, sophisticated styles that have very fun, youthful designs… but with the wow factor that won’t make mom and dad want to chaperon.  Apparently, we weren’t the only ones that loved these lines… and the demand was overwhelming.

We have increased the amount of gowns from La Femme and their smaller division, Gigi.  We do only sell one gown per school/prom of a particular style….so again, come early.

PROM 2012 DESIGNERS:

In 2011, we decided to focus on a brand new line that no one in the area carries.  It is exclusive to Centre County at Diamonds & Lace.

LA FEMME (www.lafemmefashion.com) – our main line.  This company designs the Dancing with the Stars gowns.  They are incredibly well made, and the designs are not ones that 10 years from now will have you saying…”what was I thinking!”.  They are simply…..gorgeous.

JOVANI (www.jovani.com) is our other main line this year.  Red carpet styles, figure flattering gowns….and head turning designs.  Jovani is great for girls looking for unique not easily found styles.

We also carry evening, fun and glamorous dresses that are ready-to-wear.  These dresses are in fine stores such as Nordstrom’s, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales… but the prices are a bit more accessible in our store!  And you won’t have to make the drive to King of Prussia!

PRICES:

Proms should be glamorous, mysterious, fun, a time to get butterflies in the stomach… not a time for price dread.  We worked really hard to find lines that will keep cost of gowns down… without compromising quality, style or trends.  You’ll find gowns ranging from $150 to $450… and that’s really at the high end.
