UPDATE: Because we wanted to bring a little couture to the young and beautiful in Central PA, we chose very chic, sophisticated styles that have very fun, youthful designs….but with the wow factor that won’t make mom and dad want to chaperon.  Apparently, we weren’t the only ones that loved these lines….and the demand is overwhelming.  The remaining prom gowns keep coming in and there is still plenty, plenty of time to order, and do alterations for proms taking place at the end of April and May.  You are not required to use our seamstresses, but we have 2 very talented ones who will be available on PROM NIGHT ALTERATIONS ONLY.  THIS DAY WILL BE SET ASIDE SPECIFICALLY FOR PROM ALTERATIONS.

Every year, throughout the year, we will sell our remaining Prom inventory at 50% off.  Every year we sell all of our prom inventory, so we can bring in the next season’s styles… and so forth.  Space is limited and  styles change too dramatically from year to year.  So, if after prom season you are thinking about prom 2011, formals, balls, dinner dances, concerts, anniversaries, or any other elegant occasions, visit Diamonds & Lace for After-Prom-Season sales!

REGISTERING:

Like most shops around, we will register your dress to your school, or the prom you will be attending.  That means we make sure the same dress is not going to the same school, from our store that is.  We cannot guarantee that another girl will not have the same dress….from another store.  But we can guarantee that WE won’t sell the same dress for the same prom.

This year, we decided to focus on a brand new line that no one in the area carries.  It is exclusive to Centre County at Diamonds & Lace.

We also carry evening, fun and glamorous dresses that are ready-to-wear.  These dresses are in fine stores such as Nordstrom’s, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales….but the prices are a bit more accessible in our store!  And you won’t have to make the drive to King of Prussia!

PRICES:

Proms should be glamorous, mysterious, fun, a time to get butterflies in the stomach…..not a time for price dread.  We worked really hard to find lines that will keep cost of gowns down….without compromising quality, style or trends.  You’ll find gowns ranging from $150 to $450…..and that’s really at the high end.

We have them! For prom and bridal.  We have Jim’s Formals- a great company with an enormous color selection and very, very handsome styles for those guys!
